College kids report all the time that the hardest part about being away from home isn’t so much about missing family or having someone do your laundry. It’s about missing the family dog or cat. Pets add so much to your life that it’s difficult to think what it will be like without them at college. What if you could take your favorite pet with you to school? At the University of Florida, you can.
Pet-Friendly Apartments Near UF
There are hundreds of pet-friendly apartments near UF for students that don’t want to leave their favorite canine or feline back at home with the parental units. Instead, for a deposit, you can bring your furry friend with you. The apartments are located near campus, accept student aid for rent purposes, and are so large that your pet won’t mind staying at home while you head off to class during the day. The one caveat is that all of your roommates and your roommates’ pets have to agree and have to get along to be in the same apartment.
Pay the Deposit Just in Case
If you can’t decide right away whether or not you want your pet to come to college with you, pay the pet deposit anyway. You can always change your mind at a later date. You would need the pet deposit paid even if your parents brought your dog or cat for a visit for a few days anyway. For more info, contact Aero on 24th, via
